Where I received my coach training?
I have received my coach training from the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), the largest professional coach training organization in the world. Co-Active means, “being together in action.” Together, the coach and client, create the basis for a life that is fully lived with all aspects of one’s being - heart, mind, body and soul.
What is coaching?
Coaching is about encouraging you to explore the difference between how your life currently is, compared to how your life can be. When you live aligned with your values, when you follow your passions, and when you set out to achieve your goals, you will live a happier and more fulfilled life. Coaching is about deepening the learning and moving forward together in action.
Coaching helps individuals...
“There’s no better way to serve and nourish the magnificence in another person than to simply listen to them openheartedly and without judgment.” – Henry Kimsey-House, Co-Active Leadership: Five Ways to Lead
Why I became a coach?
I want to make a positive difference in this world. I believe that the world can be a better place by simply connecting deeply with other human beings. As a coach, I want to do even more, I want to encourage, support and empower as many people as I can so that they can continue to evolve into their full potential. I want to remind people that they are naturally, creative, resourceful and whole and are capable of solving any problem and accomplishing all of their goals and dreams. I want to show people what they cannot see in themselves and remind them of their values and encourage them to lead a more meaningful life. I want people to believe that they deserve the very best life that they can imagine. I want to teach people how to manifest their greatness!
“If you can dream it, you can do it.” – Walt Disney
Why people hire a coach?
People hire a coach because they want a better quality of life. They want to be more alive, they want to make better choices and they want a different way of achieving their dreams and goals. They seek coaching because they are making a conscious effort to take the next step in changing their lives.
“Our chief want in life is somebody who will make us do what we can.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
What you can expect from coaching?
What you can expect from coaching embraces all of the following Co-Active Principles - Fulfillment, Balance, and Process. These are the core elements that I bring to my coaching practice.
Fulfillment – A person’s deep inner passion that fills their heart and soul is what we describe as fulfillment. When a person is living a life aligned with their values they are living and experiencing a fulfilled life. Through coaching, people are able to reach their full potential by rediscovering their values and overcoming obstacles that are preventing them from having the life they truly desire.
Balance – When a person feels out of control, they are unable to live the life that they desire to live. Unfortunately, for many people this is true and they accept feeling out of control as their only option. Being in balance is about seeing things through different perspectives, making powerful choices, committing to take action and then being accountable for the actions that they choose to take. Through coaching, people learn that while certain circumstances cannot change, they can still make powerful choices and take courageous steps to create a different set of circumstances, leading them to a more balanced life.
Process – People are always in process, whether they are talking about an experience or actually in the experience. Through coaching, people learn to be present and experience life in the moment. Being with a person, providing encouragement, support, acknowledgment and championing them through their experience is what allows them to live more fully in more meaningful relationship with all aspects of their lives.
“Freedom is not the absence of commitments, but the ability to choose and commit myself to what is best for me.” – Paulo Coelho
